JAKE STOLLMAN

About Me
I am a recent graduate of the University of Michigan, where I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Space Engineering. My research interest lies chiefly in the field of astrodynamics; that is, the design and analysis of trajectories through space. My goal is to design trajectories for space exploration missions to the outer planets and beyond. I currently have two papers in the process of publication preparation, one having been accepted, and one finishing up development.

I am also passionate advocate for space exploration, being a member of the Planetary Society and the National Space Society, and having lobbied on Capitol Hill for NASA science with these two organizations.

Space exploration and colonization is a net benefit for humankind, and I live by that principle. Space is the High Frontier, and it is our destiny to explore and settle it. It contains mysteries that, when untangled, fundamentally change the way we look at existence. It offers bountiful resources that can open up new opportunities for human development. And finally, it offers new horizons for humanity, for even when we're going out amongst the stars, we will still wonder: where does the long road of the future lead?
